A 7-day itinerary is the perfect amount of time to explore some of the highlights of this fascinating country. Here’s a suggested itinerary to make the most of your time in South Korea:
Day 1: Arrival in Seoul Upon arrival in Seoul, check into your hotel and take some time to rest. In the afternoon, head to Gyeongbokgung Palace, a beautiful palace from the Joseon Dynasty. Afterwards, take a walk through the nearby Bukchon Hanok Village, a traditional Korean village with houses called hanok. End the day with a traditional Korean dinner and a walk along the colorful Myeong-dong shopping street.
Day 2: Seoul Spend the day exploring more of Seoul’s highlights. Visit the ancient city wall of Hwaseong Fortress and the famous Namsan Tower for a panoramic view of the city.
